Situation

A spatial data team depends on VicMap updates from DataShare, but manual ordering, downloading, importing, and logging creates delay and repeated operational work.

Outcome

Flux keeps the update routine repeatable: configured DataShare orders are checked as soon as VicMap updates are available, new downloads are processed, imports are recorded, and operators can review what happened.

Steps

  1. Configure the DataShare orders and target database environment.
  2. Run the scheduled Flux process for downloads, imports, and follow-up steps.
  3. Review order, download, update, process, and export logs.
  4. Act on completion or error notifications when operator attention is needed.
